Privacy
This site and its demos count visits with their own software, on this server. Nothing is sent to an analytics company or any other third party, and no cookies or other browser storage are used for it.
What is recorded
- Each page load: the page, the time, the site that linked here (search engine, social site or page), and your browser, operating system and kind of device as your browser describes them.
- Your approximate location (country, region, city) and network provider, worked out from your connection's address when you visit. The address itself is not stored.
- On the demos: how long the page was on screen, how long it took to start, its frame rate, your screen size and language, which parts of the demo were used (as counts), and any script errors, so problems can be fixed.
- To count unique visitors without cookies, a one-way code is made from your address and browser plus a random value that changes every day and is then deleted, so visits on different days can't be linked, and the code can't be turned back into an address.
How long it is kept
Individual visits are kept for 100 days, then only daily totals remain (backup copies of this data are kept for two weeks). The server's own security logs (for example blocked attack attempts) are kept for up to 180 days.
